Struct DWTResult
pub struct DWTResult<T: SignalType> {
pub approximation: Signal<T>,
pub detail: Signal<T>,
pub original_length: usize,
}Expand description
Result of a single-level DWT
Fields§
§approximation: Signal<T>Approximation coefficients (low-pass)
detail: Signal<T>Detail coefficients (high-pass)
original_length: usizeLength of the original input signal. Carried so that the inverse
transform can truncate the reconstruction back to original_length,
which is necessary because:
Periodicwith oddNproducesM = ceil(N/2)per band; the inverse upsamples to2·Mwhich exceedsNby one sample.Symmetric/Zero/Constantuse the PyWavelets-canonicalM = (N + L − 1) / 2(whereLis filter length); the inverse reconstructs into a buffer of length2·M + L − 1and extracts theNsamples at offsetL − 1.
